Case Study: Dulwich Prep College

Why we needed a new website?Dulwich College Prep School website
Our old site was dated and had become very difficult to navigate due to the ad-hoc way in which things had been added. In this time of economic slowdown we wanted to be sure we gave the very best impression to both current and prospective parents as well as the wider community.

After a great deal of research we settled on e4education for a number of reasons:

  • They have a proven track record of producing school website
  • Their portfolio showed a huge range of stylish designs packed with innovative feature
  • The demo version of the CMS was intuitive and easy to use
  • The meetings we had before signing up was professional but friendly and set a good tone for the working relationship
  • The costs were within my budget.
How did the design phase go?

The consultation meetings were extremely useful and allowed us to identify key areas of our school
Our personal designer, was always at the end of the phone and very easy to work with
Our ideas were quickly assimilated into the design
The photography and video packages were excellent.

What about populating the site?

Despite offers of help from e4education I decided to jump in and upload the content myself. The system proved as simple as I had hoped and the site has grown very quickly. The help and advice I was always able to get by calling e4education was without fail delivered in a friendly, efficient and speedy way.
Our network team found the e4e staff helpful and professional when arranging the switch over from our old site to the new one.

Have other staff found it as easy?

e4education provided a training session, for some of my colleagues and without fail the feedback was very good. They not only felt that the CMS was user friendly but that it had been well explained.

What now?

I have no reason to believe that the high level of professional support I have received so far will not continue. I look forward working with e4education and growing our site into a major communications tool for our school.
