Access keys allow you to navigate around our site without using your mouse for the main navigation, as our sites are created dynamically it is possible that the main navigation may change from time to time, although we do try to refrain from doing so to allow regular visitors to navigate the site using the shortcuts they are used to using.

The access keys on the main navigation will be where ever possible the first letter of the menu item's name, where this is not possible the 2nd letter will be used.

 In addition to this you may always access the following areas of the site using the access keys below:

To access the high visiblity version use access key 0
To jump directly to the page content and bypass then navigation use access key 1
To view the sitemap use access key 2
To goto our contact page use access key 3

 

How to use access keys

How to use access keys varies between web browsers, below is a list of web browsers and what keys to press to access pages via access keys:

Internet Explorer 5+ (PC) Hold ALT and press the access key then release both keys then press ENTER
Internet Explorer 4 (PC) Hold ALT and press the access key
Internet Explorer 5+ (Mac) Hold CTRL and press the access key
Netscape 7, Firefox, Mozilla (PC) Hold ALT and press the access key
Firefox alternative On some versions of Firefox it may be necessary to use ALT+Shift + Access Key
Safari, Omniweb, Firefox, Mozilla (Mac) Hold CTRL and press the access key
Opera Hold Shift and press Escape then release both keys and press the accesskey
